Groundbreaking Held for New Mendocino County Courthouse

On Friday, officials from the city of Ukiah along with representatives of the Pinoleville Pomo Nation were on hand for a ground breaking ceremony to start construction of the new Mendocino County Courthouse on East Perkins Street. The courthouse project was reactivated in fiscal year 2021-22 and is estimated to be completed in 2027.

Lakeport City Council to Meet Tuesday Evening

When the Lakeport City Council meets tomorrow evening, it will consider updates to local regulations that protect against contamination of drinking water caused by backflow. Lakeport Man Found Guilty of Second DUI in Jury Trial

A Lakeport man has been found guilty of DUI in court on Thursday. Eliseo Del Aguila, age 32, of Lakeport, was found guilty of driving a motor vehicle on November 30th of last year with a blood alcohol level of .16, twice the legal limit.
