Controlled Traffic Advisory

The City of Lakeport Public Works Department is advising that there will be controlled traffic through approximately September 29, due to prep and paving. The areas affected will be Second Street from Brush Street to Russell Street and Ninth Street from Forbes Street to Pool Street.

Majority of Voters Reject Recall of Governor

Arson Arrest Made for Hopkins Fire

The destructive Hopkins Fire in Calpella has been declared an arson and an arrest has been made. Two additional COVID-19 related deaths were confirmed yesterday in Mendocino County. The Public Health Department reports a 53-year-old from Willits and a 69-year-old from Ukiah, are the 68th and 69th local deaths as a result of the pandemic.
