Lake County is expecting about 3,000 first and second dose COVID-19 vaccines this week. That’s up a thousand from the number of doses received last week. Public Health Officer Dr. Gary Pace says the new one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be among the incoming doses.

A Lakeport Unified School District employee has tested positive for COVID-19. Contact tracing is underway and the district says no students were exposed. The affected staff member is currently in isolation.
