The Northshore Ready Fest is being held this Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm at the corner of 11th Avenue and Highway 20. Northshore firefighters and community organizations will be there providing resources to help prepare for emergencies. There will also be two sessions to learn CPR. The Lake County Planning Commission has approved plans for a new resort on the lakeshore in Lucerne on State Highway 20. The resort will include nine overnight lodging units.The property also includes a one-story house that was the longtime residence of well-known Pearl Harbor survivor, Jim Harris, who died in 2011.
