CalFire reports that after burning for nine days, the Ridge Fire east of Clearlake Oaks in the Walker Ridge area along the Lake and Colusa county lines has been contained. The name of the man whose body was found in the water under the Noyo Bridge in Fort Bragg has been released. Witnesses say they saw Ellis William Washburn, 59, of Ukiah climbing over the rail of the bridge and called for assistance. Foul play is not suspected.
