A reminder, testing of the various tsunami alerting systems in conjunction with state and federal partners begins at 9 am this morning with notifications by phone along the coast as a general reminder. NOAA Weather Radio, local radio, tv, and outdoor sirens will be tested between 11 am and 12 pm.

Willits Man Dies in Single Motorcycle Crash

A Willits man has died in a single-vehicle crash on SR-1 north of Ocean Meadows Circle.  The as of yet unidentified driver lost control of his motorcycle on a curve and then traveled onto the shoulder and collided with a guard rail.  The collision is under investigation.
