Two of Three Killed in Fiery Crash Near Ukiah Identified

The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office has identified two of the three victims in a fiery crash just north of Ukiah last week. The driver of the vehicle has been identifed as Gavin L. Backues, and the female passenger was Caroline A. Salcido, both were from Eureka. The third passenger remains unidentified.
