A high Surf warning is in effect through late tonight for the Mendocino Coast. Dangerously large breaking waves anywhere from 20-30 feet are expected. Life-threatening surfing conditions and significant beach erosion can be expected. Waves can break and sweep people off jetties and docks. Beachcombing is not advised.
The state’s CalFresh Fruit and Vegetable EBT Pilot Program has received an additional $10 million in funding. Harvest Market in Fort Bragg and Mendocino will once again offer the program.
