The Lake County Fair starts tomorrow, with four days of fun for the whole family. Music, the Midway, Lake County Idol and the Mr. and Miss Lake County contest are just some of the highlights.

The southbound lanes of South Lakeport south of the westbound U.S. 20/75 ramp may be closed as the city of Lakeport Engineering Division inspects damage and initiates repairs to the bridge after a truck hit it. Drivers are advised to slow down in that area and follow all traffic control signs.

A mobile home fire in Willits was quickly extinguished last night. A call around 9:45 reported a unit on fire in the Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Park was on fire. The trailer was fully engulfed. One occupant escaped the home.

A fire reported early last night in the area of Vichy Springs Road and Medicine Way may have been intentionally set. Reports indicate that a burglar alarm in a building was triggered shortly before the fire broke out.
