Drowning in the Russian River Along Potter Valley Road

A person drowned yesterday in the Russian River. The incident, at a swimming hold along Potter Valley Road across from Cold Creek Compost, was reported late afternoon. Emergency personnel were contacted by a group of bystanders on the beach near the victim. EMS administered CPR but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mendocino County Could Lose Important Credit Rating

Mendocino County is in danger of losing its credit rating with Moody’s Investor Service.
