Lakeport to Look At Housing Conditions in Order to Gain Rehabilitation Funding

From Sept. 9-12, Lakeport will conduct a random housing conditions survey through its contractor, Adams Ashby Group Inc. Staff will review home exteriors from public rights-of-way only, not entering private property. The survey aims to document housing conditions, identify homes needing rehabilitation, and help the city seek future housing rehabilitation funding.

Two Covelo Men Sentenced in Brutal Murder of Ag Worker

Covelo residents Iran Lee Hoaglen III, 43, and Lawrence Allen Joaquin, 37, were sentenced for the unprovoked murder of an agricultural worker in 2023.
