MUSD Approves Water System Reconstruction Project

The Mendocino Unified School District has given the go-ahead for its Water System Reconstruction Project.  TheMendocinoBeacon reports a grant from the state Drinking Water Revolving Fund will provide water suppy and storage improvements for the school district, which included supplying potable water to its schools, Community Center and Friendship Park. 

3.3 Quake Reported Just South of Cobb

The US Geological Service reports a magnitude 3.3 earthquake struck Lake County around 9.45 pm. The center was placed 3.4 miles south of Cobb and 68 miles west of Sacramento. There have been no reports of injuries or damage thus far.
