PG&E officials have issued an “All Clear” following a Public Safety Power Shutoff due to increased fire danger on Wednesday and Thursday. The PSPS affected roughly 1,100 customers across several counties including some residents in Lake and Napa counties.

The shutoff has affected residents east of Clearlake Oaks and Lower Lake. It’s estimated that just under 200 homes are affected. Restoration of power is expected around 2 this afternoon.

At a short meeting Tuesday evening, the Lakeport City Council approved adding a no-parking zone on a portion of Hartley Street. The change eliminated six parking spaces to allow for safer traffic flow. —

A reminder that smoky and hazy conditions may begin today in Lake County and tomorrow along the Coast and Mendocino County. Those conditions may last through tomorrow evening.
With no rain in the forecast for the next few days, there may be smoke and haze in both Mendocino and Lake Counties. Lake County and the interior may see those conditions beginning today and running through tomorrow afternoon. Mendocino County and the coast may start tomorrow. Those will sensitivities should be aware.
