A reported electrocution in Lucerne last night claimed the life of one person. MendoFever reports a victim was down near the Sande Beach Mobile Home Park. Bystanders on the scene attempted to revive the person. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. More details are expected from the Lake County Sheriff’s office.

The Bureau of Land Management has eased fire restrictions for public lands managed by the Ukiah Field office in several counties, including Lake and Mendocino. Campfires and target shooting will once again be allowed outside of developed campgrounds and posted recreation sites.
