The state’s jobless rate rose slightly in August, however Lake County’s rate remained flat. Unemployment in August remained at 6.1% for the second month in a row. Lake County’s jobless rate was 5.6% this time last year.
The Lake County Board of Supervisors will meet tomorrow Tuesday at 9am and will consider approval of the final budget for the 2024-25 fiscal year and consider a hike in water rates for residents of Spring Valley.
