Caspar Beach Off Limits As Bacteria Levels Test High

The Environmental Health Division of Mendocino County Public Health has announced that ocean water quality along Caspar Beach does not meet state standards and warns the public to avoid contact with ocean water in that area. Bacteria levels in the area have exceeded acceptable levels. Signs warning the public have been posted at the beach.
