Unemployment in Lake and Mendocino counties was up slightly in December. Professional and business services posted the most month-over-month job losses, the state agency reported. Flooding in Upper Lake continues due to heavy rains and a build-up of debris blocking the original channel of Clover Creek between First and Second Streets, which is private property.
