The Clearlake Police reports that missing teen Aiden Atkins,16 has been located. CPD thanks the community for its efforts in finding the young man.

Governor Newsome has appointed Jeremy Kirk of Hidden Valley in Lake County as the new Deputy Administrator for the Veteran’s Home in Yountville.    Kirk has served the Veteran’s Administration in a number of posts since 2015.

Clear Lake High School’s commencement is scheduled for this evening and part of the celebration will be a professional fireworks display. The display is part of the high school’s senior project. The display is expected to take place around 8:30 after diplomas have been passed out.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office has identified the elderly woman who died in a single-car crash near Lakeport midweek. 76-year-old Linda Jean Smith’s vehicle veered across Highway 29, crashed through a barbed wire fence, rolled across Mountainview Road, down an embankment, and hit a tree. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
