Ukiah Woman Found Guilty of DUI for Third Time

A Ukiah woman has been found guilty of DUI for the third time in the last decade. The jury in Mendocino County Court on Wednesday found Lindsay Ann Nielsen, 41 of Ukiah guilty of driving a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol .08 or greater, a misdemeanor.

Mendo County Sheriff and Ukiah PD Hire New Officers

The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office and the Ukiah Police Department have hired new personnel. UPD announced it had hired Officer Michael Jenson, a lateral officer, meaning he has strong, previous law enforcement experience. His hiring puts the UPD closer at 29 officers, with a goal of 32.
