Clearlake’s Catfish Derby A Big Success

Hundreds participated in the Catfish Derby at Clearlake Oaks, with 887 total entries, with 503 from outside of Lake County. 145 fish were caught and all but 4 released, all weighing in at just over 2,321 lbs. The largest, 27.68 pounds netted the winner from Healdsburg $5000.

Lakeport City Council Meets Tuesday at 6

Lake County Appoints New Director of Social Services Department

Lake County has appointed a new director of the County Social Services Department. Rachael Dillman Parsons’s start date was yesterday, the 15th. Dillman Parsons has been with the department since 2002 and has consistently been recognized for her performance. She has served as deputy director of the department since 2023.
