The Kelseyville Unified School District Board of Trustees has three new members. Sabrina Andrus, Mike Brown and Weston Seifert join trustees Gilbert Rangel, current board president, who has served since December 2020, and Rick Winer, former board president, who has served since 2001.
The first Pet Fix Spay and Neuter clinic held from January 31st to the 2nd of this month provided services to 203 animals. The Mendocino County Board of Supervisors meets Tuesday morning at 9 and will discuss whether to allow low-intensity camping in the county as a new type of “transient habitation”. Supervisors will discuss the possibility of a limited number of short-term commercial campsites on properties within the inland areas of the county.
The Lakeport Economic Development Advisory Committee meets Wednesday at 7:30 am and will hear economic updates, the city’s economic development strategy plan, and the Business Walk presentation to the Lakeport City Council. LEDAC will also review progress on the city goals for the fiscal year 2024-2025, with a discussion on next year’s goals.
