With more wet weather expected from another atmospheric river moving through the area possibly late Sunday into next week, the National Weather Service has issued a new flood watch for areas including Lake County. There should be some clearing starting this afternoon with more rain possible on Sunday.
A high surf advisory remains in effect through this afternoon for coastal Mendocino County. Large breaking waves of 20 to 22 feet are possible. Surf conditions will be dangerous with possible beach erosion. Beachcombing is highly discouraged. Mariners are urged to exercise caution or stay in port.
