A Lakeport Unified School District employee has tested positive for COVID-19. Contact tracing is underway and the district says no students were exposed. The affected staff member is currently in isolation.

This week’s COVID-19 vaccine 1st dose event in Mendocino County has been scheduled. Register on county’s website. This event is open to all individuals in Phase 1A and 1B and will be held from 9am-3pm tomorrow at the Ukiah Fairgrounds.

Some financial relief could be on its way soon to California homes and schools. A $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package was passed on Saturday in the U.S. Senate, sending it back to the House for approval.
