CHP Major Corridor Enchanced Primary Collision Factor Enforcement Campaign Results

During a CHP Major Corridor Enhanced Primary Collision Factor Enforcement Campaign conducted April 8, along the US-101 corridor, officers issued 597 citations, of which 402 were for unsafe speed. Officers also issued 102 verbal and written warning and five arrests. CHP is planning to conduct additional enhanced enforcement details throughout the year.

Lake County Enters Orange Tier

Lake County is now in the orange, or moderate, tier of the state’s blueprint for a safer economy. County health officials say a combination of dropping case rates and changes in the state’s tier system facilitated the move from red, to the less restrictive orange tier.
