Motorcycle riders from Mendocina and Lake Counties representing a number of local riding clubs gathered and delivered 1,273 turkeys earlier in the month to the food bank at Clearlake Gleaners in Finley, where they were included in Thanksgiving baskets. Ninety nine motorcycles along with a few trucks and trailers participated in the annual Turkey Run.

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley has received an ‘A’ grade safety rating, based on examination by The Leapfrog Group, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit organization that rates health care facilities. Leapfrog assigned grades to nearly 3,000 facilities across the country.
