Lake County Working to Get More People Vaccinated

According to Lake County Public Health officials, 66-percent of those in the age group of 18-49 are not vaccinated. Public Health Officer Dr. Evan Bloom told the Board of Supervisors last week that the county is working to find ways to increase COVID-19 vaccinations.

Shooting in Lucerne Sunday Night

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred in Lucerne on Sunday night. Deputies responded to a home in the 3300 block of Ogden Road on the report of a gunshot victim. An air ambulance was requested at the scene. No further details have been released.
