The Clearlake Police Department has announced that a man reported missing has been located. Kenneth Nicholson, reported missing on Wednesday has been found safe.

Clearlake Police are now asking for the public’s help in locating Kenneth Nicholson, 65, reported missing on Wednesday. Nicholson was last seen near the Travelodge in Clearlake. He is a white, adult male, 5’9” tall, 165 lbs with blue eyes and blonde hair. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearlake Police.

The Clearlake Police Department reports that a missing man, Thomas Earl Emery has been located. Emery was reported missing this past Tuesday.

The Clearlake City Council will have a fire mitigation fee workshop along with its regular meeting this week starting at 5 tomorrow. After the workshop, the council will consider a resolution to designate the city manager or designee to engage with state Native American tribes.

The Lakeport Unified School District Board will hold a special meeting today at 6 to discuss a proposal to lay off nine full-time positions and discontinue seven classified staff positions. There will be a closed session to discuss an issue with an employee before the special meeting.
