Kelseyville’s Dia de la Independencia Canceled Due to Immigration Enforcement Concerns

The Kelseyville Business Association has announced that, due to concerns regarding heightened immigration enforcement activity in the region, the decision has been made to cancel this year’s Día de la Independencia scheduled for September. The KBA said it cannot in good conscience ask the community to come together under a climate of fear and uncertainty.

Transient Arrested in Connection With Machete Attack in Boonville

Mendocino County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man suspected of attacking someone with a machete in Boonville last Monday.
