A teenager is dead and four other teens injured in an off-road vehicle crash on Thursday night. CHP reports the accident occurred on private property on Schwartz Lane. Governor Newsom late last week signed a proclamation ending 22 open states of emergency for various fires, storms, and other incidents. Several of those emergencies extend back to 2017 and were for incidents in Lake County. The declaration says emergency status is no longer necessary for response and recovery efforts.
