News Staff There are still about 300 customers without power in Mendocino County since last week’s snowstorm. PG&E has notified those customers that they can expect power to be back on today. The outage website shows some areas could be restored by noon, while areas further north in the county may not have power until 10PM.
Vaccination scheduling is now available for Lake County residents aged 65 or older. The Lake County Public Health Department says because there is a limited vaccine supply, they will initially open up a few days of appointments, and then increase the number of available slots as they ensure an adequate supply of vaccine. Both Lake and Mendocino Counties have each confirmed another COVID-related death. Yesterday’s report from Lake County Public Health puts the death toll at 33 cases, with 7 hospitalized within the county. Mendocino County now has 38 deaths recorded. The additional death from North County, was recorded on Sunday.
