The new Lake County Registrar of Voters office is now open at 325 N. Forbes St in Lakeport, otherwise known as the old PG&E building. Registrar Maria Valadez says the new location is over double the size of the old office and will allow for safer working conditions due to the pandemic.

Millions of honeybees and their hives have disappeared from an apiary in Hopland. According to Sonoma-based Tauzer Apiaries, which owns the bees, thieves have stolen 384 colonies.
