Warning Sirens in Several Communities to Be Test on Monday

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office says it will conduct a full length, 3 minute test of the warning sirens in several communities at 11am on Monday. Sirens in Middletown, Anderson Springs, Cobb, Loch Lomond, and Kelseyville Riviera, will be tested, with messaging sent out through LakeCoAlerts and Nixle notifying residents of the test.

Lake County Library to Begin Literacy Training Sessions

The Lake County Library has scheduled a new virtual Adult Literacy Program to begin on Wednesday. The two, two hour training sessions will take place on Zoom, hosted by the new adult literacy program coordinator Georgina Marie Guardado, who is also Lake County’s current poet laureate.
