Lakeport Completes Lead Line Survey

The city of Lakeport has completed its initial Lead Service Line Inventory required by the EPA. TheLakeCountyNews reports the city of Lakeport physically inspected all service lines in its distribution system, regardless of ownership. All service lines were verified non-lead.

Lake County Campus of Woodland CC Holding Open House

The Lake County Campus of Woodland Community College is holding an open house on Thursday from 4 – 6 pm in Clearlake. The college has over 50 different degree and certificate programs that are employment-driven and aim to place students in local jobs. Christmas Tree Permits on Sale

The Mendocino National Forest is now selling Christmas tree permits online.  You must be at least 18 ot purchase a permit, with a limit of one per family.  Permits are good through December 31st.  For more, go to recreation.org.
