Mendocino County law enforcement continues the search for the suspect in a shooting in Hopland. Jesse Connolly is charged with attempted murder in the July shooting of another man. Connolly also has three outstanding warrants out for his arrest unrelated to the shooting.
A motorcyclist died in a head-on collision with a tractor-trailer last night, halfway between Lucerne and Pepperwood Grove. The tractor-trailer was hauling a backhoe when the collision occurred just after 7 p.m. The rider was trapped under the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.
