Round Valley residents now have access to fiber optic broadband internet. According to MendocinoCountyPublicBroadcsting, the project, spearheaded by the Mendocino County Public Library system has already begun to make a difference in the community. Over 400 addresses now have access to fiber optic broadband in the area.

Magnitude 2.9 Quake Tuesday Afternoon in Lake County

A magnitude 2.9 earthquake was recorded Tuesday afternoon in Lake County. The temblor struck at 2:18 pm, with the epicenter 6.8 miles north of Lake Pillsbury, just south of the Mendocino County Line. Power was not affected, according to PG&E. Anyone who may have felt it is asked to report it at usgs.gov.

Covelo Youth Arrested for Making Threats Against Round Valley Schools

A 17-year-old from Covelo was arrested for making criminal threats against Round Valley High and Elementary schools in Mendocino County.
