A heat advisory until about 11 am, changing to an excessive heat warning is in effect through Wednesday evening for most of Mendocino and southern Lake counties. Temps of 103 to 110 can be expected today. There is potential for heat related illness, especially for those working outside or participating in outdoor activities.
