FOURTEEN SMALL FIRES STARTED BY LIGHTNING

Cal Fire Mendocino Unit (Cal Fire MEU) announced today that fourteen small fires started as a result of lightning strikes on Monday, August 14 and Tuesday, August 15. The lightning strikes were part of a weather system of thunderstorms that traveled westerly across northern Mendocino County.
