The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat watch for Lake County from today through Thursday evening. It will be dangerously hot and windy with temperatures from 95 to 103 degrees possible, especially in the eastern part of the county.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Department is again sponsoring the Sheriff’s Activities League for the summer. Activities are provided at no cost to families.
