Global “No Kings” protests against government overreach are planned for this weekend. The Lakeport event, organized by Lake County Indivisible, will take place Saturday, the 28th, from noon to 2 p.m. at Museum Square. Rallies are also planned for Cloverdale and Garberville in Lake County, with gatherings across Mendocino County, including Ukiah, Fort Bragg, Mendocino, Willits, Point Arena, and Gualala.
