Two people sustained major injuries and were airlifted following a traffic collision that completely blocked Highway 20 near Spring Valley Road in Lake County on Sunday, around 10:00 p.m. Early reports indicated a possible vehicle fire and lane blockage. Later reports confirmed two vehicles were involved, with one crossing the center lane before the crash and traveling 50 feet down an embankment. Emergency crews removed one person from each vehicle and transported them by air ambulance.
