The Ukiah High School Marching Band will host a 24-hour “Play-a-Thon,” from 4:00 p.m. this Friday to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, to fund trips to attend performances by the San Francisco Symphony and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Instrumental Music Director Audrey McCombs, in her position since 2016, is seeking pledges. The event includes jazz combos, chamber music, instrument learning, group guitar, and karaoke.
