The Lake County Vector Control District will begin aerial larvicide treatments on Monday, March 2, to combat an aggressive surge of Aedes increpitus floodwater mosquitoes caused by recent heavy rains, a proactive step to “stop the surge before it starts.” Initial airplane applications are scheduled for March 2, targeting Clear Lake State Park, Lakeport, Anderson Marsh State Park, Clearlake Oaks, and Bridge Arbor South.
