The Lake County Superior Court announced that the swearing-in ceremony for its newest judge will take place this week.Judge John Langan will officially join the bench when the ceremony takes place at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at the Lake County Courthouse. Earlier this month, Gov. Gavin Newsom appointed Langan to fill the vacancy created by Judge Andrew Blum’s retirement in July. The swearing-in ceremony is open to the public.
