Cal Fire’s Mendocino Unit began a prescribed burn on Shamrock Ranch near Laytonville this week. The burn targets 500 acres in northern Mendocino County, east of Highway 101. Burning will continue until Monday, March 2nd. Smoke and aircraft may be visible.
