An atmospheric river storm system is expected bring cold, windy, and wet weather to the area through the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Lake and Mendocino counties will likely see moderate or locally heavy rain this weekend and early next week, potentially being “in the bullseye” for a narrow band of heavy rain over the weekend.
