Only 242 mail-in ballots on the Nov. 4th Proposition 50 special election remain to be counted in Lake County. Statewide, the “yes vote” maintains a significant lead at 64.4% to 35.6% no. Locally, the Lake County preliminary count has flipped, with the “no vote” now ahead by 55 votes. Local results will be certified Dec. 2; statewide results by the Secretary of State on Dec. 12.
