The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the skeletal remains found in Ukiah along Low Gap Road last weekend have been identified as a Ukiah man who went missing early last year. Autopsy results positively identified the deceased as 25-year-old Angel Murguia-Martinez, who’d been reported missing in February of 2024. Next of kin have been notified, and the official cause of death will be announced once all forensic examination reports and tests have been completed.
