Two Lucerne Women Arrested for String of Vehicle Break-Ins

Two Lucerne women responsible for a string of vehicle burglaries have been arrested. The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies arrested Elizabeth Arnold, 39, and Sarah Simon, 48, early Tuesday morning after a report the two entering vehicles in the 3000 block of Estrella Court in Ukiah. A search of their vehicle turned up stolen items, drugs and paraphernalia. Simon was booked into the Mendocino on an outstanding warrant and charges related to the theft and was given a two bonds totalling $25K. Arnold was also booked into county jail on conspiracy and grand theft charges and given a $15K bond.
