At a meeting of the Fort Bragg Planning Commission, there will be a discussion regarding a proposed 87-unit apartment complex to be built just south of the Noyo River Bridge. The complex would be located between the Emerald Dolphin Inn and the Fort Bragg Outlets on the west side of State Route 1. The owner of the Dolphin Inn, Akoshdeep “Kosh” Grewal, is the proposed developer. The need for affordable housing in the area and concerns regarding the height of the new buildings and the percentage of affordable units in the complex have been a topic of discussion in the community.
