A Longest Night candle lighting service will be held at Ukiah United Methodist Church at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21. Many churches choose the Winter Solstice to acknowledge grief and loss. Pastor Michele Robbins says all are invited to join with other members of the community in remembrance of those who’ve passed.
